Frances's Story
Life
I met my husband Chris in High school. We have been married for 18 years and together for 20. We have three wonderful children, aged 18, 12 & 8..... and A Mastiff, Kratos.. After graduation I became a nurse, but no longer practice due to the advanced medical needs of my only daughter Savannah(12). I am an advocate for Rett Syndrome awareness and education. Just ask and I will explain :o)
Our oldest son, Cameron is now an enlisted man in the Army. He just began a 6 year enlistment (graduated from Basic Training on Dec. 1, 2011). Out of nearly 700 soldiers, he was awarded for being the 'outstanding Soldier of the cycle for Echo Company'. Only 24 total soldiers out of the nearly 700 were recognized & given such an award. He scored way off the charts on all of his testing, just as he did throughout his schooling growing up...Always so gift...Expand for more
ed. He could have chosen to do/become absolutely anything due to his super high IQ... He speaks a few languages already & that is exactly what he wanted to base his life & career around...language...specifically obscure or difficult to learn languages. He was VERY adamant though, that he wanted desperately to serve his country as well. It would not suffice for him to be just a civilian & work with languages. So he has just begun studying, currently taking the first steps on the road, for his idea of a perfect life. He is in Monterrey CA studying to become a Cryptolinguist. He is excelling & is very happy :) We could ask for nothing more as he begins his adult life. We are of course, tremendously proud of this young man! He is AMAZING! A wonderful human being...they come no better than him.
